Sensei Mark Holland
Sensei Holland, fourth dan karate-do, began his martial arts training in his college Shotokan club. He later trained briefly with a college Taikwondo club, and has been training at CMA-USA since 1994. Sensei Holland oversees the school's Kobudo program under the direction of Hanshi Carl Wilcox and Sensei Ernesto Martinez, a long time instructor of Okinawan kenpo and kobudo. Sensei Holland is also training in Chen family Tai Chi with Sifu Yongli Gao of Johnson City, TN and has been practicing the Yang family short form for the last few years. Sensei Holland has been a member of the English Department at East Tennessee State University since 1986.
